Korn

Korn is an American nu-metal band formed in Bakersfield, California in 1993. The band is widely credited with pioneering the nu-metal genre, blending heavy metal with elements of hip-hop, industrial, and grunge. Korn’s raw, emotional sound is characterized by aggressive guitar riffs, heavy bass lines, and frontman Jonathan Davis’ distinctive, anguished vocals. The band gained significant attention with their self-titled debut album in 1994, followed by the groundbreaking Follow the Leader (1998), which brought them mainstream success. Known for their dark, introspective lyrics and innovative sound, Korn has influenced countless bands and remains a key figure in alternative and metal music. Over the years, the band’s lineup has evolved, with Davis being the only constant member. Korn has enjoyed long-lasting success with numerous chart-topping albums, such as Issues (1999) and Untitled (2007), and continues to be a major force in modern rock and metal.
