Green Day

Green Day is an American punk rock band formed in Berkeley, California, in 1986. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool. Green Day became widely known for their energetic, catchy, and rebellious sound, blending elements of punk rock, pop-punk, and alternative rock. Their breakthrough album, Dookie (1994), made them global stars with hits like "Basket Case" and "When I Come Around."
