Babymetal

Babymetal is a Japanese kawaii metal band formed in 2010 as a fusion of J-pop and heavy metal. Originally a subunit of the idol group Sakura Gakuin, the band quickly gained international recognition for their unique blend of energetic choreography, melodic singing, and intense metal instrumentation. The core lineup features vocalists Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) and Moametal (Moa Kikuchi), following the departure of Yuimetal (Yui Mizuno) in 2018. Backed by the highly skilled Kami Band, Babymetal has performed on major global stages, collaborating with renowned metal artists and helping to bridge the gap between pop and metal music.
