Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold is an American heavy metal band formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, California. Known for their diverse sound, blending metalcore, hard rock, and heavy metal, the band gained mainstream success with albums like City of Evil and Nightmare. Their lineup consists of vocalist M. Shadows, guitarist Zacky Vengeance, lead guitarist Synyster Gates, bassist Johnny Christ, and drummer Brooks Wackerman. Former members include drummer The Rev, who passed away in 2009, and bassist Matt Wendt. Over the years, Avenged Sevenfold has become one of the most influential modern metal bands, recognized for their intricate guitar work, powerful vocals, and theatrical performances.
